We’re proud to offer a unique mentoring opportunity we call Reverse Shadowing. It’s designed to give you real-time, discreet support on the most valuable training ground there is: your own paid weddings.

With Reverse Shadowing, one of our experienced directors will accompany you at your wedding booking, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, providing subtle, in-the-moment guidance, technical advice, and moral support — without ever stepping in to take over (unless you ask us to!).

You stay in control. We stay in the background. You get the job done… better, smoother, and with growing confidence.

💡 What Is Reverse Shadowing?

Unlike traditional shadowing — where a less experienced photographer tags along with a pro — Reverse Shadowing flips the model. Here, you’re the lead, and we’re there to support you from the sidelines.

Whether it’s your first solo wedding, or you’re pushing into new territory like flash, hybrid shooting, or tight timelines, we’ll be there to help — quietly and professionally — when and where you need it most.

We will shoot alongside you, and you keep all the images for your business.

Our regular ‘Second Shoot Only’ day rate is £300+, so this is a bargain!

🧭 How It Works

1. You book us alongside your wedding job (we do not interact with the client unless you ask us to).
2. We support you discreetly throughout the day — offering technical assistance, time checks, posing tips, gear advice, and more.
3. You learn on the job in a real-world, high-stakes setting — with the security of knowing a pro has your back.

💷 Pricing

• £200 flat fee for any job within 1 hour of your chosen mentor’s location.
• Additional small travel fee for jobs further afield
• You earn your full client fee — we’re there for you, not your couple
